5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climb Itinerary
Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After breakfast, drive from your hotel to Marangu Gate.
Complete registration and park formalities before beginning your climb through the lush rainforest.
The trail is surrounded by beautiful vegetation and birdlife as you gradually ascend toward Mandara Hut.

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Today you continue toward the high-altitude alpine desert.

After arriving, have an early dinner and rest because your summit attempt begins around midnight.

Day 4: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
This is the most challenging and rewarding day of your 5 Days Marangu Route adventure.
Wake around midnight and begin the final ascent.

Continue around the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 metres.
After celebrating your summit achievement, begin the descent back toward Kibo Hut before continuing to Horombo Hut.
